Brazil is a tropical paradise for its 6.5 million yearly visitors and well known for having the longest beach in the world. From its exciting culture, idyllic beach vacations and exotic jungle explorations, the country has something for every traveler.
Here are the latest COVID-19 entry requirements for travelers and everything you need to know before your trip.

Countries That Are Permitted Enter Brazil
Travelers from ALL countries are permitted to enter Brazil under regular visa requirements.
All COVID-19 country restrictions have ended as of July 29th,2020.

Quarantine Entry Requirements
Travelers are NOT required to quarantine for 14 days when arriving in Brazil.
COVID-19 Testing Entry Requirements
Travelers are NOT required to present proof of a negative COVID-19 test.

COVID-19 Travel Insurance Entry Requirements
All travelers will be required to present proof of travel insurance that covers COVID-19 before being allowed to enter Brazil.
Documents will be checked before passengers are allowed to board their plane.

Permitted Airports and Borders
Land Borders
All land borders are closed for entry with the exception of Brazilian nationals.
Arriving By Air
Passengers are permitted to enter Brazil by air.
Closed Airports
The following airports are closed to international arrivals:
- Paraíba
- Rondônia
- Rio Grande do Sul
- Tocantins
- Mato Grosso do Sul

COVID-19 Health Requirements While in Brazil
All visitors must abide by the following COVID-19 health requirements while in Brazil:
- Wearing a mask is mandatory in all commercial establishments, offices, schools and places of worship
- Follow all social distancing markers and guidelines
- Follow all hand washing/sanitizing signs and guidelines
Transiting Through Brazil
Passengers are allowed to freely transit through Brazil as long as they do not leave the international airport area and have a ticket for onward travel.

COVID-19 Vaccine Entry Requirements
A COVID-19 vaccine is not yet available. Brazil has not made any announcements if a proof of vaccination record (POVR) will be required for entry in the future.

Visa Entry Requirements For Brazil During COVID-19
All travelers arriving in Brazil must follow all regular visa requirements.
The countries listed below DO NOT need a visa for stays up to 90 days.
